Johnny Depp made his comeback with his new film Jeanne du Barry which premiered at the festival. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s film received a positive reception after being rolled out. All this surely encouraged Barlow to express her support for Amber Heard. The journalist, Eve Barlow, took to her Instagram handle and slammed the Cannes organizers for letting a “r*pist and abuser” taint the prestigious event.

In another of her posts, she expressed her happiness after witnessing the public backlash against the Finding Neverland star post his appearance at Cannes.
“It’s encouraging to see that there is reporting and backlash on the perpetrator’s attendance at Cannes. What would be even more encouraging is if the landscape was fair enough that Amber Heard could be there as a L’Oreal ambassador.”

The proactive journalist shared her opinion on the infamous divorce through her Instagram by stating that the Aquaman star went all alone against the Hollywood giant, Johnny Depp.
“In all seriousness, this is the power of Johnny Depp. Nobody will speak out because of the steer this man has in Hollywood. Amber stood alone.”
It looks like not all were happy to see the comeback of the Corpse Bride star. Many of Heard’s supporters were especially infuriated as the comeback of Depp comes in the backdrop of the Drive Angry star’s decision to quit Hollywood.
