The duo never confirmed dating in real life however, there was once an incident that made fans believe that something was going on between them.
Shia LaBeouf once sparked dating rumors when he drunk-dialed his co-star Megan Fox after a fight with his girlfriend.

Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox worked together for the Transformers franchise for the first two installments before Fox was replaced. While they had an excellent on-screen bonding, some fans even thought they would be dating in real life. LaBeouf had once admitted in an interview that he dated her for a short time.
However, there was one incident that became proof of their real-life bonding. In 2015, Shia LaBeouf was captured on camera as he was seen fighting with his then-girlfriend Mia Goth. They were fighting in front of their German hotel. Some people tried to help and resolve the fight. As quoted by Hollywood Life, the actor was heard screaming,
“I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m getting pushed. I don’t wanna touch you. I don’t wanna be aggressive. This is the kind of s**t that makes a person abusive.”
The actor immediately left the scene in his car without Mia Goth. He told his driver,
“If I’d have stayed there, I would have killed her.”
Then he took his phone out and dialed Megan Fox’s number to FaceTime with her. Calling her at that moment raised questions about their romance. The call was not answered by Fox.

Shia LaBeouf shared in an interview with Decider that he was involved in a romantic relationship with Megan Fox when they were working together. He said,
“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
Seven years later, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress talked about her relationship with LaBeouf during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. She said,
“Um, I mean, I would confirm it was romantic. I love him. I’ve never been really private about that. I love him.”
Shia LaBeouf reunited with his former wife Mia Goth, and now they share a daughter. Megan Fox is dating Machine Gun Kelly.
