Fans Troll Joseph Quinn’s Rumored Casting In The MCU!
With Phase 5 of the MCU in full swing, fans are quite excited about the upcoming movie Marvel’s Fantastic Four. Since the MCU has already a list of movies and series at its disposal, the casting of Fantastic Four has been allegedly fixed and fans are not happy.
In a Twitter post, rumors began to circulate that Joseph Quinn, known for portraying the role of Eddie Munson in Netflix’s Stranger Things had been finalized for an MCU role. As per the post, Joseph Quinn was cast in the role of Johnny Storm in the upcoming movie Marvel’s Fantastic Four. This news seemed to hurt people deeply as they swarmed around the Twitter post with memes and trolls directed towards the actor.
Although the rumor hasn’t been confirmed, it would be in Marvel’s favor right now if they would declare the casting of the upcoming Fantastic Four much like the DCU did with Superman: Legacy (David Corenswet is the new Superman). Although Quinn may or may not have been selected for the role of Johnny Storm, he will shine in a spin-off to the 2018 movie A Quiet Place.
Joseph Quinn Had Fun Working With Lupita Nyong’o
Joseph Quinn has been cast in the spin-off of the 2018 movie A Quiet Place titled A Quiet Place Day One. The actor starred alongside Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role as Nakia in Black Panther, and according to him, she smelled the best and was quite fun to work with.
“Lupita Nyong’o smells pretty good. I don’t know what fragrance she wears. She smells beautiful; she smells great. I only really have scenes with Lupita, so I didn’t get to hang out with Djimon and Alex. We had a couple of dinners and they’re lovely guys. They’re really brilliant.”
The actor further went on to compliment his co-star Lupita Nyong’o and how fun it was to work with her.
“I’m immensely thankful for the experience that I had with Lupita though. She is formidable and tenacious, vulnerable, and devastatingly talented. I’m pleased to say a friend, too, as a result of this experience. So that’s not a bad thing.”
A Quiet Place Day One will serve as a spin-off prequel and will be the third installment in the franchise. The film is set for a release date of 8th March 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
