The synopsis given in the announcement indicates the teaming up of Gwendolyn Firebird with the Bossonius to defend The DustFaire after a destructive ambush against the Dustlanders. Both the synopsis and art lean towards an interesting duality of heat and cold that can be explored in the gameplay through the game’s open world.

The launch of Saints Row was not the most impactful, having sales below expectations, reviews from average to bad and even moving its developer, Volition, under the umbrella of Gearbox Entertainment.

Saints Row had problems in its launching

Thus, the restart of the series did not reach the expectations of the fans who were also not abandoned by Volition that followed the disappointment with the announcement and release of two expansions in recent months, The Heist & The Hazardous and Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus.

It had already been announced previously that the third and final expansion of the game would arrive on consoles and PCs in August and now the exact release date of the new installment of the title has been given, August 8th is when players will be able to enjoy the content of A Song Of Ice And Dust in Saints Row.

So it looks like it’s the end of the journey of the troubled Saints Row reboot after so much negative attention received by the franchise, maybe it’s time to breathe and take a break, but not before giving last attention to the dedicated players who persist.

So, for the few excited gamers, a good game playing defeating new enemies, using new cosmetics, and exploring the newest district in this open world.
