It was in 2019 when Charlotte Kirk openly admitted that she was forcefully offered s*x by former Warner Bros. executive Kevin Tsujihara in exchange for roles in films. The incident caused major controversy in the world of entertainment. Although Tsujihara denied the allegations, the whole thing moved into a dirty legal battle between both parties.
She has never hesitated to speak against the nasty secrets of Hollywood and claimed how the minor actors in the movies are often not selected by their merit but in the wrong way. Bruce Willis‘ Marauders co-star didn’t take any name but mentioned that there are many powerful people there who make the actors go through the controversial process of the “casting couch”.
During her appearance in the Anything Goes With James English podcast, she added that there are many actresses as well who get ready for whatever they are told to. They fail to understand the dirty game and how influential personalities try to suppress individuals so that the truth stays hidden.
“Some girls don’t care though. Some girls will do whatever it takes. A lot of these people, these powerful people, they say they want to help you but they don’t. They don’t want you to succeed, because if you succeed you have a voice. If you have a voice you’ll out them … they’re scared that you’re gonna tell the truth. They don’t want that. They’re sadists. They suppress you. They’ll do the opposite; they’ll say ‘Oh I’ll help you, I’ll do this, and I’ll do that…'”
According to the 31-year-old actress, more secrets are there that couldn’t be revealed due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) which she is still trying to nullify in a court of law. Kirk can be more vocal about the scenario once it gets removed.
Movies with Bruce Willis and her career in Hollywood
By far, Charlotte Kirk has been mostly seen playing minor characters in the industry. She is known for making three appearances alongside the action icon Bruce Willis in Vice, Marauders, and First Kill. Although it’s doubtful if the Tekken 2 actress wants to remember the movies as most of them turned out to be disastrous ventures.
Charlotte Kirk is currently together with movie and television show director Neil Marshall who is known for Hellboy (2019) and some of the most prominent episodes of Game of Thrones.
