Pedro Pascal is an industry favorite, he has starred in some of the biggest shows in TV history like Game of Thrones, Narcos, and now The Mandalorian and The Last of Us. Pascal’s fame escalated ten times when he starred in The Mandalorian, and with The Last of Us, he has become one of the most sought-after TV actors.
The actor has been making headlines for his commendable work and brilliant shows. Many wonder how he chooses the right shows all the time. The anchor of The Tonight Show introduced Pascal and his achievements as they talked about his recent projects.
Pedro Pascal dodges questions about The Mandalorian
Pedro Pascal appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he talked about his career at length and gave some insights into what The Mandalorian Season 3 might look like. When Fallon asked about Season 3 the actor carefully chose his words treading lightly, he said
“I will say, there will be more Mandalorians. A lot of them. Big, epic battle. Plural. Baby Yoda is not in this season. No, I’m just kidding.”
He continued to describe the show and other elements that will be a part of it, Fallon asked about Grogu. Pedro Pascal replied, “He has been very good, he is still learning, teaching, protected, and protecting.” He refused to divulge any further,
“Yeah. -I think if I say any more…I’ll be replaced. Like, not just as the Mandalorian, but as a human being in life. [ Laughter ]. That’s how powerful Disney is. -Exactly. And their technology is so sophisticated, they’ll just replace -A.I.-…a different Pedro Pascal, exactly.”
Pedro Pascal forgot that he was cast as Joel Miller
The Game of Thrones actor shared an anecdote from the day he met Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann the creators of the show. Pascal was given a copy of the script and was instructed to call Mazin if he liked the script.
The Mandalorian star loved the script and sat with the creators, in his words he “fell in love” with both of them. They talked for hours and Pedro Pascal took a sleeping pill fearing a rush of adrenaline. While he was drugged Mazin had told him “you got the job“, the actor, however, had no memory of the said conversation.
He waited the whole morning longing for the phone to ring when a message popped up congratulating him, that is when memories of last night flooded in, reminding him about Mazin’s call. Now he recounts that episode with glee and humor.
The Last of Us is streaming on HBO and The Mandalorian season 3 will premiere on Disney + as well.
