From being deemed as the next big thing in the early 2010s to landing himself in controversies that derailed his career, Shia LaBeouf has been surrounded by drama for the better part of his career. After starting out as a child star and working in multiple Disney projects, the actor soon rose to stardom, thanks to the Transformers flicks, which gave his acting career a substantial push.
However, after rising to fame, the actor did land in a hive of controversies from time to time. But even though many of his costars spoke out against him, not everyone had a bad time working with the actor. And LaBeouf too didn’t have a bad time working with most of his female costars, as he admitted to falling for them during their time together.

Although most actors are successful in not developing feelings for their onscreen love interest for the most part, there are times when the romantic tension between some of them is too much to resist. However, in Shia LaBeouf‘s case, things are a little extreme, as the Transformers star admitted that he can’t help but fall in love with whoever he is collaborating with. He explained,
“Oh, I’ve been in love with every woman I’ve ever worked with. But some aren’t available. And then there’s the three-month attention span that actors have, you know I don’t know if it’s mutual, but I really don’t care. They have to kiss me when ‘action’ gets called, anyway, so I’ll get what I want.”
However, this would once land him in another drama when LaBeouf admitted to romantically being involved with Megan Fox, who was supposedly engaged to Brian Austin Green at the time.

Shia LaBeouf isn’t the only actor whose career witnessed a spike after starring in Michael Bay’s Transformers movies, Megan Fox too rose to stardom as a result of these blockbusters. However, LaBeouf’s tendency of developing feelings for his costars would become a topic of discussion after he admitted to having a romantic relationship with Fox when she was engaged to Brian Green. He explained,
“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
Although his career has witnessed a decline following the controversies he has been involved in, fans expect the actor to bounce back with Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming Megalopolis.
