Jackie Chan Trashes Arnold Schwarzenegger
Old Terminator films were loved by the fans as it was the go-to action-sci-fi movies for them. The film starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role as the Terminator. Chan has always been praised for his fighting styles in movies, all thanks to his training lessons in martial arts and acrobatics. He also likes teaching people various styles.
But in Hollywood, it isn’t the case as he is one getting taught, which doesn’t sits well with him. In a past interview with Bright Lights, The Shanghai Noon actor opened up on how some films are known by their director or elements, and how none of the audience remembers the main cast.
“Even if I do a film with geniuses like George Lucas or Steven Spielberg, no way will I be famous in America. Look at Jurassic Park. Few people know the names of the main actors; they remember the dinosaurs and that it was a Spielberg film. Take Terminator 2. The director’s good; the special effects are good; Schwarzenegger is nothing. Anyone could have played his part.”
The Terminator was helmed by the famous Titanic director James Cameron. The film earned a total box office record of $78.3M globally and $38.3M in the US market.
