Jenna Fischer is a well-known American actress who rose to prominence by starring in the NBC sitcom The OfficeThe Office is a mockumentary sitcom with a total of 9 seasons that aired between 2005 and 2013. The sitcom was a tremendous hit and was adored by fans who enjoyed the daily depiction of work life. Two of the central characters of the story were Pam Beesly and Jim Halpert, played by Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski respectively. The duo played each other’s love interest in the story and portrayed one of the loveliest couples on screen. The duo may be the couple on screen but were only close friends in real life.

The duo never sparked any off-screen dating humor as Fischer was married at that time to filmmaker James Gunn, whereas Krasinski was dating Rashida Jones. The time changed and both the celebs moved on from their unsuccessful relations of the past and took a step forward to meet their respective partners. Jenna Fischer married Lee Kirk and John Krasinski married Emily Blunt. Both marriages took place in 2010 and ever since, none of the couples has ever looked back. Despite their friendship, Fischer revealed that she never watched the hit horror movie A Quiet Place which starred Krasinski and Blunt.

Jenna Fischer And John Krasinski’s True Friendship

Fischer and Krasinski met for the first time on the sets of The Office, where both celebrities instantly clicked with each other. The duo became close friends who had to play each other’s love interest on-screen. The Lollilove star revealed that it was strange and weird when the duo would perform intimate scenes for the camera.

“It is the strangest thing to have a long-term fictional love interest. It’s a type of relationship that is very intimate, and it’s very powerful, but it’s fictional. I mean, there is a part of me that is Pam, and there’s a part of him that is Jim, and that part of me is in love with that part of him. But in real life, we are just friends.”

The duo was last seen together on-screen nearly a decade ago, but both celebrities still maintain a good relationship with each other. The Some Good News star shared that he still meets with the star cast of The Office, especially with Fischer. He also added that he loves Fischer’s husband Lee Kirk. 

“I see Jenna [Fischer] all the time. I love her husband, Lee [Kirk], and their kids are amazing, so we get together a bunch.”

Jenna Fischer Never Watched John Krasinski’s Hit Horror Movie 

The Giant Mechanical Man actress revealed that she never watched the super hit horror movie of her close friend Krasinski, with whom she worked for years. The movie also features John Krasinski’s beloved better half Emily Blunt. Despite involving her close friends, Fischer couldn’t convince herself to watch A Quiet Place. Fischer revealed that the sole reason for not watching A Quiet Place was that she didn’t want to see her close friends suffering in the horror movie.

“Ok so, my husband and I had a date night, and we were there, and we were ready to buy a ticket, but I got scared. I like scary movies, but this is so weird. I was afraid to see John and Emily in peril because they are my real friends. I got scared, so I am trying to gear up. And I think I need to go see it during the day. I really was afraid. So I’m going to see it.”

Jenna Fischer added that she will make sure to enjoy her best friend’s hit work once she prepares herself for it. The instance only reflects the close friendship between Fischer and Krasinski. It is their off-screen understanding that made their on-screen chemistry perfect.
