Sharing a post via Instagram, the Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson expressed his excitement about the main card, the title fight in the UFC 293, between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland. Seemingly cheering for Adesanya, Johnson predicts absolute chaos as the renowned fighter engages in an electrifying match, to give a complete banger.
Israel Adesanya Takes UFC 293 Back To Australia After Years
The first time the UFC ventured to Australia was for UFC 110, which happened in Sydney, on 21st February 2010. Thereafter, finding it suitable, UFC events often got hosted in the New South Wales capital, over the years. However, after years of grueling matches happening in Sydney, UFC recently made another return to Australia in 2023.
Following a nearly six-year hiatus, the Octagon finally returned to the Qudos Arena with UFC 293. Back in town, making headlines for the middleweight championship matchup between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland, UFC 293 is set to feature electrifying fights between competitors from throughout the Oceanic region.
With the highlight of UFC 293 being between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland, set to happen on September 9th, 10 pm ET, the match is deemed to be serious as Adesanya will continue his pursuit to defend his title against Strickland. While it’s currently unclear which contender shall win, WWE icon Dwayne Johnson appears to be in support of Adesanya.

Taking to Instagram, Dwayne Johnson expressed his excitement for UFC 293 by posting a carousel of the contenders. While previously congratulating Israel Adesanya on his successful title defense against Marvin Vettori at UFC 263, Johnson appears to be in support of the Kiwi fighter even for UFC 293.

Predicting the electrifying match and the chaos it is about to cause, as Israel Adesanya took UFC back to Australia, Dwyane Johnson gave a subtle shoutout to Adesanya. Evidently, “The Last Style Bender” remains the middleweight king, as he continues to display absolute dominance during his matches.
Although it’s uncertain who shall win the main event of UFC 293, fans like Dwayne Johnson are eagerly hoping for Israel Adesanya to carry on his winning streak. As “The Last Style Bender” has previously defended the title against the likes of Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, Marvin Vettori, Robert Whittaker, and Jared Cannonier, fans are highly hoping for him to win against fifth-ranked Sean Strickland, as well.
