"There's this taint around his name now": Jonathan Majors Will Always Be Seen as Guilty Even if He's Proven Innocent on Assault Allegations, Says Insider Jeff Sneider

It all seemed to be going great for actor Jonathan Majors when the world came to recognize him as Kang the Conqueror in the MCU. Seemingly a “too good to be true” scenario, Majors was recently accused of assault and harassment on 26th March which allegedly hurt his career.

Although the actor is still on board the projects, insider Jeff Sneider thinks that his name is now tainted and that he will always be seen as a guilty person. As per the latest development, nothing has been proven yet but the case seems to be getting worse for the Creed III actor.

Jonathan Majors’ Name Will Always Be Tainted

On an episode of The Hot Mic, host John Rocha and insider Jeff Sneider sat down for a chat about everything pop culture. With the MCU in full swing with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the notable actor was certainly going to be a point of discussion in the video.

Jonathan Majors was recently arrested on the accusations of strangulation, assault, and harassment after which, he dropped out of several projects due to defamation. Although the actor is still attached to the role of Kang the Conqueror, insider Jeff Sneider thinks that Majors’s name has been tainted and that the guilty until proven innocent mindset will be followed by the people of Hollywood.

“It’s a sad situation. This is like Denzel’s career getting deralied in the mid-90s. Even if he [Jonathan Majors] does get off, unfortunately there’s always this like taint around his name now.”

The duo of John Rocha and Jeff Sneider further talked that to avoid defamation, the Devotion actor will probably drop out of the projects himself (except Marvel movies). It does seem to be going downhill a bit for the actor since multiple women reportedly complained of Majors’ misdemeanor in the district attorney’s office recently!

With Phase 5 of the MCU in full motion, the Loki actor has become a pivotal actor in the storytelling of the cinematic universe. What was already a complicated case would turn out to be more convoluted as multiple sources have seemingly confirmed the allegations against Jonathan Majors.

According to an article in Variety, sources told the American media company that multiple abuse victims have gone to the district attorney’s office and seemingly confirmed the accusations. In a statement, Priya Chaudhary, the attorney for Jonathan Majors declined the allegations and stated that Mr. Majors is completely innocent of any crimes and that they have given “irrefutable evidence” to the district attorney.

“Jonathan Majors is innocent and has not abused anyone. We have provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false. We are confident that he will be fully exonerated,”

The actor is slated to make a court appearance on the 8th of May for the said charges and will probably be a sensational courtroom case like Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s.
