Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are reportedly taking their relationship slow after being spotted together in the Hamptons over the 4th of July weekend. An insider told Us Weekly that the two are “only seeing each other right now” and that it’s “still casual.” However, the source also said that DiCaprio is “starting to see his romantic bond with Hadid as more of a long-term pursuit.” So, casual yet long-term, huh?
The duo have been rumored to be dating on and off since at least the fall of 2022 and were also seen partying together in the Hamptons two nights in a row leading up to the 4th of July holiday.
Hollywood insider revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid’s relationship might have more potential
Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio were seen at Richie Akiva and Garry Kanfer’s summer bash at Kissaki in Water Mill, where they were reportedly “dancing along to music together and hanging out, with serious romantic vibes.” It’s unclear if the duo is officially together, but it seems that they are at least enjoying each other’s company.
However, the source who agreed to reveal some insider details with Us Weekly shared,
“They’re only seeing each other right now. It’s [still] casual, and they aren’t labeling it, [but] they’re dating [again]. Leo wants to take it slower with Gigi because there’s potential there, and he wants to preserve it.”
Hadid shares a young daughter, Khai, with her ex-husband Zayn Malik, and DiCaprio is perhaps best-known dating-wise for his penchant for dating young models. He was last linked to Daisy Jones and the Six actress Camila Morrone before the twosome broke up in August 2022. Only time will tell if DiCaprio and Hadid’s relationship will become more serious, but for now, it seems that the two are enjoying each other’s company and taking things slow.
Gigi Hadid recently fined for Cannabis possession in the Cayman Islands
Leonardo Di Caprio’s rumored girlfriend was fined in the Cayman Islands earlier this month after she was arrested for cannabis possession. Hadid, 28, and her friend Leah McCarthy were detained after their luggage was searched as they arrived on a private jet for a holiday on July 10. The two were found to have a small amount of marijuana, which is legal for medical use in the Cayman Islands. However, it is illegal to import the drug into the country.
Reportedly, Hadid and McCarthy pleaded guilty in court and were fined 1,000 Cayman Islands dollars ($1,200; £920). However, no conviction was recorded. Hadid’s representative claimed that the marijuana was purchased legally in New York with a medical license. “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island,” the representative stated.
Despite the arrest, Hadid appeared to still enjoy her holiday in the Cayman Islands. She posted photos of the beachside getaway on her Instagram account, writing “All’s well that ends well.”
