Pete Hines, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Bethesda Software, confirmed the truth of this fact. He said that the first mod of the game is here and will be available post-launch. Fans were worried about the open-world boundaries of Starfield, but the latest news has made them forget all their worries.
Tagged as “modder’s paradise” by Todd Howard, Pete Hines said players can mod a whole planet in the game. “There will be mods after launch. We haven’t said when, but there definitely will be, as we always have, on PC, and you’ll be able to use mods on both PC and Xbox.” That’s an answer that’s going to please a lot of Xbox fans.” – These are the exact words of Pete Hines during his interview.

Like, can the deserted planets be modded or just the populated ones?
