In his interview with Den of Geek, Zachary Levi went on to express his viewpoint on the future of DCU and his upcoming Shazam sequel, which is inching closer to its release. While talking about Shazam’s role in the new DCU, the actor shared that he is looking forward to a meeting with the new DC executives and stressed that his upcoming movie will play a huge role in his future in the DCU. He stated,

“There’s definitely little ideas here and there that I brought up in the past, but I’m sure I’m gonna sit down with [DC Studios heads] James [Gunn] and Peter [Safran] soon enough and we’ll talk about what we think the trajectory of all this will be. You know, the success of the second movie will determine a lot.”

The actor further added,

“It’s just a matter of just trying to figure out what we can do to keep making good material that includes Shazam, staying true to the character and doing right by our fan base and all the people who have supported the comic and the character for coming up on a century. There are all manner of different things that can be done.”

But Zachary Levi has been pretty confident about the upcoming sequel and believes that they have crafted a fun adventure for fans to enjoy. And apart from sharing his viewpoints on the upcoming Shazam sequel, he also went on to express his desire to star in the live-action adaptation of the Kingdom Come Storyline.

“Kingdom Come would be something so amazing to do, even if it means me sacrificing my own life. I think it’s something that fans would fucking devour.”
