Recently players have been flocking by the hundreds of thousands to play Baldur’s Gate 3, and so far, it has been an amazing success with players absolutely loving the experience and gameplay, but it hasn’t all been perfect as some players have experienced a few issues with the game which is expected so soon after release, but Larian is already taking player feedback and is working hard to release a patch which will include over one thousand fixes, and this is even after they have already done a few hotfixes.

Why are there so many fixes being included in one patch?
As many gamers will know, over the first few weeks of a game’s release, there are always going to be bugs and issues with a game that wouldn’t be expected by the game developers, and this will always happen when a game releases or if a new piece of content is released for a game. Since Baldur’s Gate 3 has only been released since August 3rd, there have been a few different issues with the game that players have brought to Larian’s attention.
Some of these issues include things like the game crashing, blockers and bugs which persist throughout the game. This patch won’t be the first time that an update has been brought to Baldur’s Gate 3 to try and deal with these issues, as there have already been three hotfixes which have been released, which have been used to battle these known issues if they were a game-breaking issue, or caused a lot of problems for players as a whole group, whilst leaving small issues which will only affect a minor number of players until this patch is released.
What other patches could be coming to Baldur’s Gate 3 in the future?
Regarding the upcoming patch and a new hotfix which will be released soon, the company CEO Swen Vincke has already released a roadmap which has provided some details into what we can expect regarding the upcoming hotfix and Patch and also added that they are already looking into a second patch which is looking to add in some popular requests from players.
To release this information, Swen Vickie took to Twitter detailing that they have been taking in the feedback from players, and it is very rewarding, whilst also stating that they will now be focusing on fixing any issues that the player base finds so that there isn’t any inconvenience for the players. After the current hotfix and patch, Larian is looking towards their next patch already, which could include a few features which have been missed out; some of these requests come from players who say they would like to be able to cook meals, change their characters mid-game and more armour styles and weapons.
