"The movie makes least amount of sense": Joe Rogan Laughs at Keanu Reeves' John Wick Who is Fan Favourite Despite Killing 299 People in His Movies

John Wick has been one of those franchises, which kept getting better with each entry and the fourth movie didn’t fail to live up to its predecessor, and in some cases even surpassed them. However, Joe Rogan, who has always been pretty outspoken about his viewpoints on various subjects, believes that the John Wick universe doesn’t make any sense.

Joe Rogan explains why the John Wick movies don’t make any sense

While speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience, the former UFC commentator went on to question the logic behind these movies and explained how the John Wick franchise doesn’t make sense. Rogan expressed that he is stunned by the fact they are still rooting for Keanu Reeves’ Wick. Even though the character is one of the most gruesome serial killers in cinematic history, and has a kill count more than all of the Halloween movies combined. He said,

“The movie makes the least amount of sense. He’s the nice guy serial killer assassin, who can’t be stopped, and everybody roots for him… John Wick has now killed a total of 299 people onscreen, that’s more than the combined total of Jason Voorhees and all the Friday the 13th movies… Oh my god! that’s so ridiculous. But it’s crazy that we’re rooting for him to kill everybody”

Even though some aspects of the movie might not make total sense to Rogan, that doesn’t diminish his love for the character, and he hasn’t missed the opportunity to commend its brilliance.

Among all of its brilliant factors, including cinematography and direction, the thing that makes the John Wick franchise stand out is its impeccable action. And despite his few problems with the franchise, Joe Rogan hasn’t backed away from commending its incredible action sequences. During one of his podcast episodes, Joe Rogan revealed that he watched a clip from the first John Wick movie about 50 times, as it motivated him to do 7 hours of cardio. He said,

“One day, I did 1100 points, I did seven hours of cardio… Mostly elliptical machine, because we watch movies. So I watched John Wick like 50 times. I kept rewinding it to the scene in the bath house where he kills everybody. It’s just because it’s so adrenaline-filled you can keep going.”
