If you have seen Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible franchise, you must already know it is full of Cruise performing exceptionally complex stunts, stunts which can easily result in fatal injuries if not death. From hanging off the Burj Khalifa in strong winds to blowing up an entire aquarium, there is nothing that Tom Cruise has not done yet. With each successive move, the star continues to raise the bar for his fellow stars.

In the $791 million film, Mission: Impossible- Fallout, there is one shot that features Tom Cruise freestyle hanging off a flying chopper. It was during this hot that he almost fell to his death. One can see the Interview with the Vampire actor trying to climb up to a helicopter as it carries some cargo. While reaching the top, Cruise fell only to save himself at the last minute by catching hold of the cargo. Had he not been caught on the rope, he would have plummeted to his death by falling feet down in a canyon.

This wasn’t the only fatal incident during the shoot of the movie. He also broke his ankle as well as performed the highest free-fall skydive in the movie. Seems like Cruise has a death wish.
