The Marvels is up next on the MCU’s release slate and there’s a tonne of chatter around it. Some are already wondering if the film will be able to match, let alone surpass, the insane one billion box office gross set by Captain Marvel. However, many aren’t concerned with the money. They are wondering about the story.

The first trailer of the film hinted at a storyline where Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms Marvel, swap places with each other. How the film gets executed will be interesting to see, but fans are interested in the speculated post-credit scene of the film that shows Nick Fury in full Batman mode.

While fans debate about whether Iron Man or Captain America was the true leader of the Avengers, it can’t be denied that Nick Fury is the one who is often seen coordinating them. He’s an ordinary brooding human who pushed past his limits and even went to space with a super powerful being. Sounds familiar?

Comic book fans will probably realize his similarities with DC’s crown jewel, Batman. While Nick Fury too has a preference for the color black, he isn’t wearing a suit to go crime fighting at night. However, a scooper has leaked a potential Post-credits scene from The Marvels, that shows him adopting another quality of Batman.

As per Twitter user and film insider @CanWeGetToast, there’s an interesting post-credits scene in the Brie Larson-starrer The Marvels. The scooper attached an image to the tweet that said:

“In The Marvels, Nick Fury has a tablet for keeping tabs on all the heroes currently active. At the end of the film, Kamala takes the tablet and tracks down Kate Bishop. To Kate’s surprise, Kamala shows up at the Bishop’s residence. Kamala tells Kate about the events of The Marvels and how the young heroes need to team up. She asks Kate, ‘Did you know Scott Lang has a daughter?’- setting up the Young Avengers.”

There’s a lot to unpack here. But, interestingly, Samuel L. Jackson‘s Fury keeps track of all active superheroes like Batman. The dark knight has a habit of not just keeping tabs on every hero, but also preparing plans to take them down in case they go rogue. While it’s not known if Fury has such emergency plans as well, it will be interesting to see if he does.

Here’s what the fans are saying:

Even though the scooper has a great track record of leaks, it’s important to remember that there’s no way to know if this is true or false till The Marvels actually releases. As such, it’s advised to take this leak with a pinch of salt.

The Marvels will be released on 10 November 2023.
