But still, when it came to voting for their best DC movies of all time, fans were quick to stand with Snyder than with James Gunn and his film The Suicide Squad.

In a recent poll conducted on Twitter, fans were asked which DC movie according to them was the best that was ever created. There were several answers that had the names of both new and old films that different filmmakers created in their own unique way. While many were from the DCEU, there were few that were outside the franchise, like legendary director Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Trilogy.
The surprising bit was the fact that even among so many responses, there was almost no mention of Gunn’s DC project anywhere in sight.
Just goes to show that the legacy of man will continue with his work with the same passion that he created it.

And not just for the DCEU, Snyder also created Watchmen, which is hailed as one of the best and borderline perfect superhero films in existence, which further bolsters his reputation. Along with that, his direction style rivals even the most celebrated filmmakers in the industry, which is why he has such a loyal fanbase at his side.
