“I’m a simple Puerto Rican girl from the Bronx, who just is getting on the train and come down here with all my big dreams and just trying to make them come true.”
In the documentary, the Anaconda actress teased her skills of getting through the subway turnstile without having to pay the fare. She continued, “First, you gotta look around, and then you just go under.” But once, the master of this art found herself in trouble with law authorities.
Lopez shared that she and her sister had only one token. As they were trying to sneak in and heart the fare, they were arrested after a failed attempt. She explained, “When the train was busy enough, you could get away with it.” That day, it wasn’t, and it got a little harder to pull off. Both had to work overtime to pay the fine.
