Scott Eastwood, who recently returned as Little Nobody in Fast X, has had a lot of experience in the film industry, being the son of the cinema legend, Clint Eastwood. He has been part of many massive movies like Suicide Squad, Wrath of Man, Fury, and Taylor Swift’s music video for her song, Wildest Dreams. Despite this, however, Eastwood does not want to carry on much longer with his career in the industry.
He has talked about not wanting to be in movies for the rest of his life, and not being able to picture himself acting in his forties. He believes it to be a weird business and does not like the unpredictability of his occupation.

Clint Eastwood is one of the most well-respected filmmakers in Hollywood. It is only natural that his son would take his advice for his career as well. Scott Eastwood was part of the first Suicide Squad movie and was asked to return in the second part, The Suicide Squad. Eastwood was skeptical about returning to the role and finally decided after listening to his father’s advice.
“I said, ‘They don’t want to pay me.’ He said, ‘If it feels like they really need you, and if it’s a good part, then do it. If not, then don’t.’ I didn’t have the answer to those questions at that time. I wasn’t going to have the answers, and they were pressuring me. So ultimately it didn’t happen.”
He felt pressured by the production team so he confided in his father who told him to be part of the movie only if it feels right to him. If it did not, he didn’t have to do it. Hence, he decided to not take part in the movie.
Scott Eastwood’s Alternative Career Options
Scott Eastwood’s doubts about acting may be quite cemented as he already has alternative career paths in mind that he finds more attractive. The star talked about finding the real estate business rather interesting and appealing for him. He went on to add that he likes the idea of improving and creating a vision out of a home that no one can think of.
“I have other endeavours that I’m interested in outside of the film business. I find a lot of creativity in real estate. Buying and improving homes and bringing a creative vision to a home that no one really can think of and wants to do. That’s always made me happy.” He added, “I don’t have a family yet, but I want that someday, and I think about what that would look like with kids and being away from them. That worries me. But I think before I’m done or before I call it a day, I would like to tell a few stories that are passionate to me.”
He even mentioned having dreams of starting a family someday. Eastwood did not like the idea of having to be away from his kids and family because of filming schedules. The actor also added that before he steps away from acting, he would like to tell a few stories that are near and dear to his heart.
