Written, directed, and produced by Christopher McQuarrie, the upcoming Mission: Impossible film serves as a sequel to 2017’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Throughout the film series, Cruise has performed some of the most daring stunts ever which seem too incomprehensibly out-of-this-world to be real. But they are. So, jumping off of his motorbike from a cliff is probably child’s play for an adrenaline junkie like the Edge of Tomorrow star.

However, even though the award-winning actor has risked his life innumerable times solely for keeping the audience entertained, driving off of the edge of a steep mountain is by far the most dangerous stunt he’s ever engaged in. Hats off to him for his undying dedication to his films.

As the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise inches closer to its release, the official poster for the film offers a terrific look at all the heights Ethan Hunt is going to reach and more in the film.

While plot details about the forthcoming Mission: Impossible addition are currently under wraps, if the movie’s teaser trailer was any indication about all that Tom Cruise and his crew have in store for the audience, then it’s certainly going to be one wild ride. Besides swerving cars on narrow streets like a pro and running across a moving train, the two-minute or so long trailer also gives a glimpse at Cruise’s sensational motorbike stunt that is also featured on the movie’s official poster.

Back in December 2022, Paramount released a behind-the-scenes featurette about the countless risks that entailed “the biggest stunt in cinema history,” as described by the production team. Cruise, 60, had also revealed that after running the vehicle off the cliff, he only had a 6-second window to open his parachute or it’d be game over for him quite literally. Has there ever been someone more devoted to their stunts than this man?
