The co-stars met while starring in the popular film series and have grown to be very good friends. While there have been rumors that they were allegedly involved romantically, The Hunger Games star has denied the claims, saying that none of it is true.

Jennifer Lawrence’s admission to kissing her The Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth off camera caused a frenzy among fans, especially after the latter’s ex released her 2023 hit Flowers. While their off-screen kiss has caused so much drama, the Australian actor didn’t enjoy his on-screen kiss with his co-star as well.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Hemsworth was asked about his most awkward scene from The Hunger Games. And The Dressmaker actor said that every time he had to kiss Jennifer Lawrence, it was pretty awkward for him.
“Any time I had to kiss Jennifer was pretty uncomfortable,” he said. He further shared that while it turned out to be very well for the movie, his co-star did something unpredictable, like eating garlic or tuna fish every time they had to film a kissing scene.
“But if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting,” Hemsworth shared. He also said that she also used to mention things like how she did not brush her teeth right before filming the scene.
Jennifer Lawrence Asks Liam Hemsworth to Get Over It
Liam Hemsworth starred alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games franchise, and the co-stars developed a very close bond. Lawrence has even shared that Hemsworth has taught her to be fair and stand up for herself.
“He’s always on time, he’s always doing his job, and he’s good about making sure that things stay fair,” Lawrence shared. The actress further shared that the Triangle actor has taught her to toughen up a bit, and she also needed it. And during her recent appearance on Hot Ones, she also addressed the kissing complaints from her co-star.
“It was not intentional,” she said before adding that she only mentioned the things that she ate and suggested Hemsworth should get over it. “It was just what I was eating, and then we’d kiss. He should just get over it,” she said.
