Zack Snyder’s work in the DCU shall always be remembered by his fans as one of the most marvelous cinematic creations before James Gunn happened. Venturing into the journey of directing superhero movies with DC, Snyder first polished his skills by starting with the Superman movies. While the filmmaker came up with Man Of Steel in 2013, he also crafted a two-minute animated short, honoring Superman’s 75th anniversary.

Recalling Zack Snyder’s animated short after a decade, fans gathered on Twitter to hail the filmmaker for his brilliant creation. Simultaneously dissing James Gunn and his notorious effects on DC movies, fans criticized The Flash and other failed DC movies under the studio head while praising Snyder.

Superman’s 75th Anniversary Tribute From Zack Snyder

Getting dedicatedly engaged with DC to deliver epic superhero movies, Zack Snyder began his journey with Man Of Steel in 2013. Although he ventured into DC’s extended universe and played with other characters, he was majorly known for his work in the Superman movies. Thus, since Snyder started his DC journey with Superman, he even crafted an animated short to honor the hero.

Coming up with a two-minute animated short in honor of the hero’s 75th anniversary, Zack Snyder and DC animated universe maestro Bruce Timm, simply mesmerized the fans. Highlighting Superman’s different incarnations, from comics, movies, video games, and even pop art, Snyder and Timm created an amalgamation that became an immortal piece of art.

Produced by Warner Bros, the short was made with the idea “to start with Siegel and Shuster and end with Henry Cavill, stopping at all the high points and iconic moments in between”. Although it was entirely Zack Snyder’s original idea, creators and producers were thrilled to be a part of it. Finally, when the complete history of Superman was delivered in just two minutes, fans lost their minds.

Fans Hail Zack Snyder While Criticizing James Gunn 

Captivated by Zack Snyder’s two-minute animated short, fans still recall the 2013 Superman tribute from the director. Feeling mesmerized by how Snyder and Timm successfully delivered a masterpiece that lives rent-free in people’s minds even after a decade, fans hailed the director. And thus, just like every other time, Snyder fans gathered to express their remorse over the filmmaker’s departure from DC.

Criticizing James Gunn for his alleged squabble with Zack Snyder that led the director to part ways with DC, fans trolled Gunn’s recent failures. Highlighting how Gunn has been failing at his attempts to keep up with audiences’ demands Snyder fans humiliated him over The Flash and even Black Adam‘s loss. 

Eventually, the entire conversation on Twitter seemed to shift from Zack Snyder’s creation to James Gunn’s failures. Starting the conversation with Snyder’s animated video, fans ended up trolling the DC head for his failed attempts, all at once. Fans even went rogue on Gunn trying to convince him how he destroyed DC by erasing the Snyderverse.
