Having a notoriously infamous rivalry in Hollywood, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have had some incredible moments over the years. With the fight running for almost 2 decades, the two have broken the internet several times with their interactions.
In a YouTube video, Sylvester Stallone sat down for an interview with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his photo with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Revealing that the two had a pumpkin carving contest, Stallone perfectly imitated Schwarzenegger’s voice which left the people in hysterics.
When Sylvester Stallone Broke The Internet With A Photo
Some time back, Stallone sat down for an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Being the comedic host that he is, Fallon proceeded to reveal that Sylvester Stallone broke the internet when he shared a photo of him and Arnold Schwarzenegger holding knives together.
With two carved pumpkins on the table, Schwarzenegger and Stallone posed with two hunting knives in their hands and smiled at the camera. Recalling the moment, The Expendables actor talked about how the whole scene came to be.
“I’m doing a reality show and I give him a call. I said, ‘Yeah, can I come over?’ He goes, ‘yeah, come on over. I’ll bring my donkey. You can pet it'”
Stallone further continued,
“I come over and there are these fuzzy things in his office. After we do our tete-a-tete, talking, he goes, ‘You want to carve a pumpkin?’ And he goes like ‘Pumpkin!’ and then pumpkins appear, then he’s like ‘Knives’ and some guy bringing knives. I mean, it’s unbelievably choreographed.”
What’s more entertaining than the story was how Sylvester Stallone imitated Arnold Schwarzenegger’s voice and that he won the pumpkin carving competition because of Schwarzenegger’s poor skill sets!
Sylvester Stallone Won The Competition!
As if imitating Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn’t enough, Sylvester Stallone went further and made fun of his co-star’s carving abilities. Referring to the unusually large knives that they were holding, Stallone started saying that they weren’t actually pumpkin carving knives.
“These aren’t like pumpkin carving knives. So when I saw this knife, I go, ‘it’s home team’. We had a pumpkin carving contest and I’m glad to say that I went down. Got the head off, both eyes and nose, the mouth done before he got one eyeball”
Although both actors had a petty rivalry during the late 80s and early 90s, the fight eventually subsided and they became good friends over the years.
