The feud between Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren has been going on for a long time. The actors were earlier seen as part of the successful movie Rocky. However, Stallone was miffed over the spinoff to the classic movie Rocky, which had converted his long-time friendship with Lundgren into animosity. The actor had earlier lashed out at Lundgren for making a spinoff of the classic film and shared a post where he degraded the actor on social media.
However, Dolph Lundgren confirmed a Drago spinoff is still in the works and shared that he wants Sylvester Stallone to get involved with him. The project is still in development. Lundgren also shared that the Drago spinoff will be available to the fans by the end of 2024 or by 2025, depending on the timing of the shoot.

Lundgren spoke to Fox News Digital about his upcoming project while promoting his new film The Best Man. In the action thriller film, the actor stars alongside Luke Wilson and Brendan Fehr, and it was released on April 21.
Talking about the script of his upcoming movie, the actor said,
“There was a writer who wrote a script [for “Drago”], which wasn’t very good. So, everybody’s waiting for a new writer to come in and try to shape it.”
As per reports, MGM Studios is making the Drago spinoff.
Sylvester Stallone lashed out at former co-star Dolph Lundgren
As per the reports, The Expendables actor initially criticized the project. The actor remarked that the producer Irwin Winkler and his sons, Charles and David, are picking clean the bones of the Rocky movie character Drago.
Stallone wrote in an Instagram post,
“ONCE AGAIN, IRWIN WINKLER, this PATHETIC 94-year-old PRODUCER and HIS MORONIC VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David, are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me…I APOLOGIZE to the FANS, I never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites…”
As per the reports, Lundgren told Fox News Digital that he and Stallone have let go of their rivalry, and the issue has been resolved.
Regarding the reunion of Dolph Lundgren and Sylvester Stallone, he said,
“It’s certainly a cool role to play, and I think there’s a big audience out there for it,” he explained. “I certainly would like Sly to get involved. He’s a very smart man, and he’s a great producer. And also it’d be fun to act with him.”
Dolph Lundgren made his acting debut in the early 1980s and landed his first role in A View to Kill in 1985. The same year, he also appeared in Rocky IV which offered him global fame. He has also worked in movies like Masters of the Universe, Universal Soldier, and The Expendables, and was also part of DC Studios’ Aquaman.
