The speedster is set to meet a wide range of new and returning DC characters thanks to The Flash’s examination of the multiverse, a subject that is now at the top of the popularity list for superhero ventures. The cast of The Flash features several Batman actors, including Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton in their respective roles as the Dark Knight, as well as Michael Shannon from Man of Steel repeating his role as General Zod and Calle making her acting debut as Supergirl. When Supergirl is initially introduced in The Flash, she will be seen in a challenging circumstance. Supergirl will start the film as a prisoner in what seems to be a Russian facility, as shown in The Flash’s first teaser. According to later shots in the teaser, the hero was most likely someplace in Siberia. Calle portrays “Kara” in the film, a reimagining of Kara Zor-El/Kara Danvers, the DC Comics character Supergirl. The actress, however, won’t be adapting a typical Supergirl plot for The Flash; instead, she’ll be stepping into Superman’s shoes in the comic book story that served as the inspiration for the film.

Compared to Calle’s Supergirl, Henry Cavill’s Superman led a completely different life. Kal-El was adopted by the Kents when he was a newborn and brought to Earth. His family helped him as he grew up to learn how to harness his powers, however, his father was concerned about how the outside world would view him. Calle’s Supergirl, however, will be taking control of Superman’s gritty Flashpoint narrative. Supergirl will have experienced a lonely upbringing after being discovered by the government, subjected to torturous experiments over the years, and separated from the sunshine that grants her powers.

Fans seem to dislike absence of Supergirl’s character arch

After seeing Supergirl directly being able to control her superpowers, fans feel the character lacks story. One user tweeted on Twitter saying

Another user brought up Zod’s history,

Another user argued how long it took Clark to figure out how to control his powers,

Some are just not liking it at all,

Some talked about character development in cinema,

Another user called it “unrealistic”

Instantly being able to use superpowers?! Talk about UNREALISTIC! Everyone knows in THE REAL WORLD you have to train your superpowers first! Duh!!

The trolling continues, and it appears some fans are not very fond of what DC has become and their opinion on the beloved movie stirred this huge online debate. However, some fans are also supportive of the narrative of the movie saying that its too soon to judge
