It was not long ago that Kevin Hart was in a car accident that caused him major back injuries. The comedian spent ten days in the hospital and later entered a rehabilitation facility for a full recovery. It took months for him to completely recover from the accident. Hart has now posted an Instagram video in which the Fatherhood actor is seen in a wheelchair.
In the video, the Central Intelligence actor revealed that he did something stupid thing that caused an injury, putting him in a wheelchair. This stupid thing involved a bet with former NFL running back, Stevan Ridley.

In the Instagram video, Kevin Hart began by admitting the reality of turning 40. Hart advised his audience that people need to respect their age or the age will make you respect it. Further explaining his situation, the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor revealed that he wanted to make a public announcement so that no one would be alarmed by seeing him in a wheelchair.

Hart gave the hint that he did something really stupid, as he wrote the caption under the Instagram video, “44 and sitting my ass down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the fuck am I doing???? I blew my shit….I’m done. FML”. The Upside actor said that he attempted to do some young man stuff.
The accident occurred when Hart was having a barbecue party with former American footballer Stevan Ridley. The Night School actor took a bet against the NFL star to race him in a 40-yard dash, which led to the accident.
Celebrities And Friends Wished Kevin Hart A Speedy Recovery
Kevin Hart disclosed that he tore his adductors in the accident, admitting that he didn’t even know what that was. The 44-year-old actor seemed very frustrated with himself for causing such an accident due to a silly reason. The Man from Toronto actor shared in the video:
“What are we competing for at this age, what am I doing? Why did I even race? Stupidest s**t and now I can’t walk ’cause I’m somewhere trying to get the title of the fastest at the barbecue. What was I thinking son? God, got to be the stupidest man alive. It is what it is man, this is life.”
Celebrities and friends poured in their love and support for the Me Time actor in the comments. Hart’s close friend, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, commented that he too once tore the adductor muscle and that the Get Hard actor would get well soon except for the fact that he may “grow a 3rd ball” in the process. Will Smith agreed with Hart, remarking that “getting older is REAL”.
While wishing the Ride Along actor a speedy recovery, Jamie Foxx humorously mocked him for running for a “barbecue title”. Judd Apatow took a light-hearted dig at Hart’s attire, commenting, “Maybe the Gucci Adidas collab slowed you down”.
Fans also wished Kevin Hart a swift recovery and several people commented that they look forward to his return to the screen to continue making them laugh.
