Zachary Quinto’s iconic role in the Star Trek franchise as Spock and his various characters in American Horror Story have made him a pretty impeccable actor. He also features as a voice actor in Invincible as well as acting in other shows like Heroes, NOS4A2, and Hannibal.
With this much experience in acting and being in many iconic franchises, Quinto is sure to know a thing or two about good and bad onscreen performances, so how does he feel about the acting of the American media personality and socialite, Kim Kardashian?
Zachary Quinton Talks about Kim Kardashian’s Performance in the New Season of American Horror Story
Earlier this year, it was announced that the reality TV star and Business woman, Kim Kardashian would feature in the upcoming 11th season of American Horror Story alongside Emma Roberts. The season is called Delicate based on a book by Danielle Valentine called ‘Delicate Condition’ which features a storyline of a pregnant woman who is convinced that a sinister figure is after her baby while the men in her life chalk it up to delusion.
Filming has already begun and what seems to be entirely unexpected is that Zachary Quinto, who has been a part of the cast of this show for quite a while, has said that Kardashian’s acting capabilities are quite impressive.
“She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don’t think she needs my advice,” Quinto said. “She seemed really in her element, and I was really impressed by her spirit and her openness.” he added “I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she’s gonna do a wonderful job,”
He stated that she is quite sweet on set, creating quite a warm environment, and continued to say that she doesn’t have any need for his guidance as she seems to be in her element. He went on to add that she is doing an amazing job and he is excited to see how this season turns out.
Patti LuPone’s Negative Comments Have No Effect On Kim Kardashian
It would seem that not everyone on the cast has been as supportive of Kim Kardashian’s new role. Patti LuPone, who was part of the third and eleventh seasons of American Horror Story, went on to Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen and talked about what her opinions are on this. She made fun of Kardashian’s choice to take up the role and told her not to get on the acting path.
“Excuse me, Kim. What are you doing with your life? Don’t get on the stage,” LuPone said.
Regardless of this, however, Kardashian seems to brush off this sort of negative reaction and is excited to try something new in her career to see where this takes her. She is up for the challenge this role will bring her and says that it is fun for her to step out of her comfort zone.
