The starting of this adorable bond began back in 2016 on the sets of Spider-Man: Homecoming, where the two first came across each other. Unlike the bond between MJ and Peter Parker in MCU, which started to grow during the events of Spider-Man Far From Home, in real life, both Zendaya and Tom Holland became close after Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Not only Spider-Man: Homecoming brought them closer but the movie also established both Holland and Zendaya as prominent figures in the industry. As Tom Holland would go on to become the definitive Spider-Man and Zendaya would go on to garner multiple Emmy wins for her performance in the critically acclaimed show, Euphoria.
Tom Holland and Zendaya want to keep their personal lives private
Despite being the internet’s favorite couple, the two have been quite private about their relationship. The two were also pretty successful about keeping it a secret for a long time before a paparazzi would capture a photograph of them sharing a kiss in 2021.
Tom Holland later voiced his opinion on the situation, as the Uncharted actor expressed his want of keeping their personal and professional lives separated from each other. He said,
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world. I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy.”
With both of them being on the top of their game in the industry, it might not be a long while before the duo finally decides to tie the knot, considering that several reports are claiming that the two are already engaged.
