Ben Affleck had a meltdown on sets of his film Air
Reportedly, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor was under immense pressure before his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. It led to his aggressive encounter with actor Chris Messina on the sets of Air.
According to Radar, the Pearl Harbor star had a full-on meltdown because of the difficulty in juggling a lot of things, including sobriety, career, upcoming wedding with J Lo, and co-parenting with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
In a viral picture, the actor was spotted in a heated argument with his co-star Messina on the 28th of June, which was days before he eloped with Lopez.
An insider shared with In Touch as perOK! Magazine that Affleck lunged toward his co-star in the movie during the shoot.
The source said,
“Somethings really eating at him. There’s a lot on his plate, and he’s been venting to people around him — he’s even lost it a few times.”
“The upcoming project is the first movie Ben has directed in more than six years, and he’s acting in it as well.”
“He’s also juggling a lot of other projects, co-parenting, house hunting, and working to stay sober, which is a constant battle.”
Affleck and Lopez were also reportedly planning to throw an extravagant party for their family and friends, which added to the stress on the actor. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck eloped and got married in July 2022.
