Jason Momoa has done some of the most iconic roles with Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones and Aquaman in the DC Universe. He has even stepped into the Fast & Furious franchise, adding to his list of big-scale projects. The actor is no doubt known for his incredible acting, the way he maintains his physique and his incredible looks. However, the internet is kind to no one.
No matter how big of a star they may be, there will always be people who will take hits at stars because of some other reason. Momoa was on the same boat as well. Whether it is cyberbullying, constant hate, back-to-back negative criticism, or body shaming, the internet always has some or the other reason to not find something right.
Jason Momoa Took A Break From Heavily Working Out
Not every actor can be on a strict diet throughout their career to maintain their body. Even though they have to jump from one big movie to another, sometimes even those that require them to jump from one kind of body to another or the same exact type as well. A constant back and forth can get tiring after a point and that’s why cheat days exist for those who follow a regular strict diet. Such is the case for Dwayne Johnson. However, the same cannot be said for everyone.
Jason Momoa seemed to have taken a break from working out while in between films and although that is completely natural as everyone deserves a break. Fans did not take it well. He looked physically different not in terms of how he looked but with how his abs were no longer visible. With the amount of work he does, it won’t be too bad for him to take a break once in a while. Unfortunately, some fans were not okay with the idea.
Fans Slammed And Body-Shamed Jason Momoa
It is to be noted that Jason Momoa was on vacation during the time the incident took place. His fans were divided into two poles with one side constantly body-shaming him and the other defending the actor.
“Someone needs to start lifting again…”
Some fans were quite harsh towards him while others were trying to make them realise that Momoa was still as dashing as ever. He even shared on multiple occasions how he prepares for bigger roles whether it is with his diet or workout. So to see fans get so brutal towards him was highly unnecessary. Fat-shaming and body-shaming the actor was also very clearly wrong.
