The death of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman was one of the most widely-covered deaths in the world in 2020. It was a huge blow to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it had lost a generational talent. Of course, anyone’s death is no joke, but Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner might have just saved himself from the jaws of death.
It’s winter and snow is falling all around the world where it can. However, despite its beauty, a huge amount of snow means problems. The US state of Nevada is one such place that is frequented by snowfall, and Jeremy Renner had a close call with death because of it.

Jeremy Renner Is In Critical Condition
In what comes as breaking news, the 51-year-old actor had the worst start to the year possible- becoming victim to a life-threatening accident. Sam Mast, a spokesperson for the actor told CNN that the accident occurred while Renner was plowing snow on his ranch in Nevada, where he has been living for 8 long years.
It has been confirmed that the Wind River star underwent two surgeries in order to treat two different types of injury- blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Thankfully, no one else has been harmed except for the actor himself.
It has also been reported by the National Weather Service in Reno that the state of Nevada is covered in a lot of snow, and areas like Reno got an elevation of snow as high as 12 inches which can quite reasonably lead to an accident.
But how did the accident happen to our dear Hawkeye? According to the Mayor of Reno Hillary Schieve, who spoke to the Reno Gazette Journal, Jeremy Renner was helping a stranded motorcyclist when the mishap happened. What actually happened has not been confirmed as of yet.
Jeremy Renner Had Updated Fans About Severe Snowfall
Perhaps one of the most unsettling aspects of the whole accident that Jeremy Renner had to endure is that he probably knew what was coming.
As Newsweek reports, the MCU star was sharing his experience clearing the snow at his Nevada ranch on Twitter, with one such post being captioned- “Lake Tahoe snowfall is no joke”.
Either way, it is quite unsettling as he almost lost his life due to the unfortunate accident.
