Jensen Ackles Badly Wants To Play The Brave and the Bold‘s Batman

The fandom has been wondering who will play this new iteration of the Dark Knight ever since James Gunn said that Batman will make his DCU debut with The Brave and the Bold.

Jensen Ackles enjoys a large number of fans who want him to don the cape and cowl. Ackles has already made his impact on DC, having portrayed Bruce Wayne in a number of animated productions and provided the voice of Jason Todd/Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

In an interaction with his fans, he said that he would go mad if Pedro Pascal gets the role. He said, “God bless you, Pedro. You just keep killing it buddy” He continued to say that he would like to put on a whole bat suit and be the superhero. “Sign me up,” he added.

Jensen Ackles would make a suitable fit for Batman if James Gunn is seeking younger actors for his DCU. The actor appears much younger than his actual age of 44. That fits well with his affection for the role, so it just makes sense. No one else is currently as eager to portray Batman as the Supernatural actor is.

What Would The Brave and the Bold Be About?

The Brave and the Bold is based on Batman and Robin from DC Comics. It will be an installment of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in the DC Universe.

During a press announcement, James Gunn revealed that The Brave and the Bold will introduce his favorite version of Robin.

“This is the introduction of the DCU’s Batman…” Gunn explained to reporters in January of this year. “This is the story of Damian Wayne, who is Batman’s actual son who we didn’t know existed for the first eight to 10 years of his life. He was raised as a little murderer and assassin. He’s a little son of a bitch. He’s my favorite Robin. It’s based on the Grant Morrison comic book’s run, which is one of my favorite Batman runs, and we are putting that all together right now.”

In addition to giving fans a fresh take on the legendary superhero and introducing the world to a new Batman and his son, Damian Wayne, The Brave, and the Bold is expected to be a unique and intriguing addition to the new DCEU. Fans will be able to experience some of their favorite characters in an entirely new way because the movie is expected to feature the rest of the extended Bat-family.
