Ahead of her film release, the Oppenheimer actress chit-chatted with Digital Spy and expressed her thoughts on what kind of films she likes doing. In the interview, she revealed that when Marvel recruited her, the world thought she won’t be doing any more Indie films.

“The reason why I came into this industry was by small indie films and I appreciated the craft and I learned the craft from them, and then I get to work with massive crews and massive directors and massive films that gone for months.”

Pugh explained that how she doesn’t like doing repetitive things but like trying out new roles in the industry. Pugh revealed that she likes doing indie films and has also learned a lot from its craft. She is making some time out to continue doing more indie films as she thinks it’s important.

“They both have completely different crafts that do, and try to do, the same thing which is just to affect at least one person. I love the difference between the two, so I’m always trying to make time and squeeze in the little weird ones as well because they’re important.”
