Florence Pugh can be called an all-rounder in the Hollywood industry. The Midsommar actress has quite made a name for herself and has worked with some of the best directors in the industry. The Black Widow Actress gives her 100% in the role she is signed for. She refuses to be restricted to certain movies and loves exploring different film characters which she hasn’t done before. Currently, she is connected to various big projects including Dune: Part Two, Oppenheimer, and Marvel’s announced Thunderbolts. Pugh is nowadays caught up with promotions of A Good Person, an Indie film that will release on 24th March.
Ahead of her film release, the Oppenheimer actress chit-chatted with Digital Spy and expressed her thoughts on what kind of films she likes doing. In the interview, she revealed that when Marvel recruited her, the world thought she won’t be doing any more Indie films.
“The reason why I came into this industry was by small indie films and I appreciated the craft and I learned the craft from them, and then I get to work with massive crews and massive directors and massive films that gone for months.”
Pugh explained that how she doesn’t like doing repetitive things but like trying out new roles in the industry. Pugh revealed that she likes doing indie films and has also learned a lot from its craft. She is making some time out to continue doing more indie films as she thinks it’s important.
“They both have completely different crafts that do, and try to do, the same thing which is just to affect at least one person. I love the difference between the two, so I’m always trying to make time and squeeze in the little weird ones as well because they’re important.”

Whenever an actor/actress does something new, it doesn’t mean their old contributions goes in vain. The same is in the case of Florence Pugh, she commenced her acting journey through an indie film named Falling. She still loves doing them and being hired for doing a Marvel character is just a feather on a cap in her successful career. Pugh’s fans have loved her in all sorts of roles and have appreciated her versatility in every single film.
Speaking of her role as Yelena Belova in the MCU, as per the reactions of the audience her acting in the film was on point. She played the assassin sister of the bravest Avenger Black Widow. Apart from the solo Natasha Romanoff film, she also appeared in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. Fans also want to see more of her in the upcoming MCU projects.
