In conversation with In Touch Weekly, an insider shared that the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star is enjoying her alone time in New York City. She has never seemed immensely content in years.
The insider shared,
“Jolie has turned over a new leaf and is thriving. She was stuck in a rut during the drawn-out divorce.”
They shared that the divorce was difficult and heartbreaking for her.
“She gets pigeonholed as being moody and difficult, but that’s because she was going through a lot of heartache and healing.”
But now the actress is focussing on her career and herself. The insider shared,
“She’s putting herself out there, working on other projects like her fashion line and making new connections.”
Angelina Jolie shared an alleged plane incident during the divorce proceedings in which Pitt had attacked her in front of their kids. After the incident, Jolie planned to separate from the star.

The actress is seemingly afraid to get back into the dating pool after going through emotional and physical abuse in her marriage with Brad Pitt.
