Although Depp came out on top, both parties were sued and counter-sued with domestic violence and a defamation case. So no matter who came out on top, they both had to pay a heavy toll for it.
Now that the legal drama has come to an end, Amber Heard is completely out of the public eye, and according to recent reports, she has no intention to save her dried-out Hollywood career. After she was heavily trolled on social media for the theatricals she pulled at the courtroom she completely fell off the grid and is currently living a quiet life with her couple-years-old daughter in Madrid, Spain.
Amber Heard Is Completely MIA From Hollywood
It is universally known that most of the celebrity life is supported by the fans, so they hold the power when it comes to supporting one individual over the other, and all these are done via social media. So it is appropriate to say that important discussions, conversations, or any information sharing held on social media have a high value, and when it comes to Hollywood celebrities, social media is not a forgiving place. For example, Amber Heard is facing quite the backlash and hate from both her supporters and her haters over the defamation case. Even though she has allegedly retired from Hollywood and is trying to live a quiet life in another part of the planet, social media always get hold of something or the other to mess with them. Especially when Heard was unable to pay her ex-husband Johnny Depp the sum of $10.35 million as instructed by the jury, it added fuel to the fire and fodder to social media. Heard is currently living a quiet life in Madrid, Spain with her 2-year-old daughter for enjoying a bit of privacy after the stressful trial.
Amber Heard To Return in Aquaman 2?
Ever since the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp case took off, both parties have lost many things, from their successful Hollywood careers to their supporters, and many others. It is widely known that Heard has lost more than Depp and although none of them have any active participation nowadays. But according to recent reports made by the attendees of CinemaCon, the first trailer of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had a couple of scenes where Heard was seen playing Mera, and although she had no dialogue in it, she might have a major role in the upcoming DCU movie.
It came as a shock to many and are already enraged about it, taking the matter to social media to discuss about it, as, during her defamation trial, her part in the movie was considerably reduced, to the point where she has no importance in it. Taking into consideration her mischievous deeds, she is really lucky to have a role in the movie. Many have deduced that Heard’s Mera has been stripped down from her role as one of the main characters in the movie and is being considered to be dropped from the franchise. Currently, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is in its post-production stage, getting ready for its premiere by the end of the year.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2023.
