“She planned all of the details out”: Armie Hammer Denies Efrosina Angelova’s Rape Accusations, Says She Planned It All and Then Ruined His Career

Armie Hammer has starred in multiple blockbuster movies over the period of his acting career which came to a halt in 2021. In 2021, Armie Hammer was accused of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and cannibalism by his then-girlfriend, Efrosina Angelova. Hammer and Angelova had a very shaky relationship, their relationship was pretty on and off from 2016 to 2020. The actor denied these accusations against him and said that they were all staged.

Rape Accusations Against Armie Hammer

The Man From Uncle actor revealed that all the accusations of him forcing himself on his then-girlfriend Efrosina Angelova were false and that he would never do such a thing. He further shared that it was all planned out by Angelova and he treated it like a script from a movie. Hammer further added that she planned out all the details of how he would follow her from Starbucks and allow himself into her house as the door would be unlocked. Armie Hammer said,

“We would engage in what is called a ‘consensual non-consent scene’, CNC. Everything was discussed beforehand. I have never thrust this on someone unexpectedly. Never.”

After his case went viral on social media, his life as a celebrity was completely destroyed as it was obvious that no studio would hire him for their projects as that would be supporting an abuser. Hammer did not come forward to clear his name earlier after the allegation, but his lawyer provided many screenshots of their conversations about how they disagreed upon many facts and also said that there are more of these.

Armie Hammer Opens Up About His Life

Armie Hammer revealed that once he even thought of committing suicide after all the accusations were made against him. He also shared that in his early childhood days, when he was a minor, he was molested by a Pastor. He recovered through the “12 Step Program from AA” and from then has been working to help those who are in a similar situation. In the interview with Air Mail, he later shared that he was also trying to get over his father’s illness which took him close to his deathbed.

The actor also shared his side of the story after he was affected by the case of sexual assault. In the interview, he said that he was thinking about ending his life one day when he and his family visited the beach. Hammer added that he swam deep into the ocean thinking that he would drown or get eaten by a shark, but turned around thinking about his children he left behind at the beach. He added,

“Sexuality was introduced to me in a scary way where I had no control. My interests then went to: I want to have control in the situation, sexually”

Armie Hammer went on to add that sexuality was completely out of control in his life and it affected him in many ways. He had no control over the fact that it was introduced to him in such a manner that at that time he was too young to solve anything on his own or seek help from others.
