Millie Bobby Brown Reveals If Eleven Created the Upside Down in Stranger Things
As aforementioned, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the character Eleven in Stranger Things gave an interview to Variety about the hit Netflix show. When Brown was asked whether she was the one who opened the portal to the Upside Down and was thus to blame for creating the monstrosity she had this to say:
“[The Duffer Brothers] did tell me. She does. She opens the rift. This is too big of a debate for me to answer. I’m so worried. I think — no, no, no. I think that the alternate universe was always there. That is always going to be under Hawkins. I just think she has access to it. I don’t think that she created the Upside Down. No, I think that it was always there, I think she just created a gate to it which no one could before.”
This clarification coming from Brown is quite interesting. The Upside Down is an alternate dimension that exists alongside the human world. Moreover, all life in the Upside Down is interlinked and is controlled by an entity called the Mind Flayer. What do you think about her comments?
