She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was doing good until recently when the people started hating on her for twerking with Megan Thee Stallion in one of the post-credit scenes of the show. Despite the director of the show saying she does not want to sexualize her female characters, it keeps happening. The series also gained controversy for not depicting Latin Americans in it, despite 48% of the population in Los Angeles… being Latin American.
The series gained momentum for the portrayal and a kind of a reinvention of the Hulk and She-Hulk. They hit a road bump when a post-credit scene revealed Jennifer Walters twerking with Megan Thee Stallion while the director in a previous statement stated something else.

Los Angeles houses a population of 4.8 million Latin Americans in the city which is 48% of its total. With the show being set in the skyscrapers of LA, people would expect some diversity present in the series. Much to the people’s dismay, it was the opposite.
Fans took to Twitter to express cries of racism for not portraying the diversity present in the Californian city.

The series has been the 4th pitch of Jessica Gao to Marvel Studios along with a denied film pitch of a musical Black Widow. The series has been allegedly review-bombed and sits at the current score of 5.1/10 on IMDb at the moment.

Sitting atop a rating score of 5.1/10 on IMDB and an audience score of 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, this series of the LA-based part attorney, part superhero is in potential perils of being just another failure of Marvel Studios.
The next episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be airing on September 8th, 2022 to stream exclusively on Disney+. Let us hope the show doesn’t get itself involved in further controversies.
