John Krasinski says his daughter thought he works as an accountant at an office
When John Krasinski made an appearance on one of the episodes of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert he talked about his daughter. The 43-year-old actor talked about his daughter’s reaction when she watched an episode of his hit sitcom The Office. In the comedy sitcom, the actor portrayed the character of Jim Halpert. The Free Guy actor’s character in the comedy series received a lot of love from the viewers.
During his interview with Colbert, Krasinski recalled the memory of when his daughters Hazel and Violet watched The Office. Emily Blunt asked the actor to make the two girls watch his show. While talking about their reaction, Krasinski said Violet who is their second child refused to believe it was his dad on the screen. His daughter Violet said to Krasinski,
“My six-year-old kept asking, ‘is that you?’ and I said, ‘yeah, it is. And she said, ‘you look very different.”
The A Quite Place actor said one of his daughters thinks he is an accountant. The actor said, “And I think that my kids thought that she had married me out of charity.” He further said they think their mother is so nice to marry an accountant.
John Krasinski recalls why his daughter asked him if he was lying
Krasinski also recalled another incident where his daughter asked if the actor was lying to her. While explaining the incident the actor said,
“The reason that I think that is I was walking them to school one day, and this guy came up, and he went, ‘John! From ‘The Office!’ Oh my god, it’s so good to see you. And we kept walking, and she said, ‘so, do you work with him? Krasinski said his daughter asked at the time. And I went, ‘no,’ and she goes, ‘Why are you lying to me? no, he just said he knows you from ‘The Office.'”
While talking about the 40-year-old actress and his wife, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness actor explained that their kids know her as Marry Poppins. Krasinski stated they made their two daughters watch the fantasy family film Mary Poppins Returns. When The Devil Wears Prada actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she talked about her daughter Hazel having a British accent. Soon, the actress revealed she picked up the American accent like her dad.
