For the film, the 27-year-old actor changed his haircut, and he reportedly had to keep his hair long for 10 months. During an interview, the Cherry actor stated that his girlfriend Zendaya was quite supportive.

Tom Holland portrayed an anti-social teenager who finds himself in hot water after being arrested one night in The Crowded Room. Holland was given the look of a carefree adolescent with long hair. During an interview, the 27-year-old actor explained how difficult it was for him and his girlfriend to see Holland every day for 10 months with bangs. The Uncharted star was sweet enough to thank Zendaya for dealing with his hair. While talking about the Euphoria actress, Holland said,
“I had the bangs. Bless Zendaya, she had a lot to put up with, with me looking like that for 10 months, it was rough.”
Zendaya and Holland are dating since 2021. Recently, when Holland celebrated his 27th birthday, the 26-year-old actress shared cute pictures of the Chaos Walking actor swimming in the ocean.
Tom Holland explains why his character in The Crowded Room was hard on him
As it was a psychological thriller series there were many scenes that talked about mental health. Holland also stated in an interview that his perspective on mental health has shifted since working in The Crowded Room. He also noted how difficult it became for him to work after deciding to stop shooting and travel to Mexico for a week. While talking about his break he said,
“The show did break me. There did come a time where I needed a break and disappeared and went to Mexico for a week and had time on a beach and laid low. I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was. I am excited to see how it turns out.”
Holland stated that the story of the newly released show The Crowded Room is about love and betrayal. While talking about his character and the story, the 27-year-old actor said,
“It’s a show that will take you on twists and turns — you’ll never know where you are or what’s going on — and then it will all come to a miraculous conclusion toward the end. “It’s a story about heartbreak. It’s a story about love. It’s a story about betrayal. And, most of all, it’s a story about a young kid’s determination to survive.”

The series was released on 9 June 2023. Reportedly, the makers of the series only wanted Holland to play the role of Danny. The Devil All The Time actor said he enjoyed playing the character as he explored the vulnerable side of his character.
