The Oppenheimer star has shared that her husband loved her 2014 film Into the Woods so much so that he ended up crying. “He cried. He absolutely loved it,” she shared during an interview with E! News. She mentioned that he might have been moved by the theme of the movie.
However, it was not the only time he was overwhelmed by watching his wife’s work, as it happened again after he saw her in the 2018 musical fantasy Mary Poppins Returns. The actor shared that when he first walked into the screening room, he did not expect to cry. However, 25 minutes into the movie, he was looking for the tissues already.
“I was like, ‘I need anything to stop this crying!’ I was crying so much,” he shared. The actor mentioned that he finished a box of tissues in 20 minutes and called it one of the most beautiful films that one would need in the holidays.

The actor shared that it was a great day, and he was happy that at the end of the day, Blunt said yes. The couple got married in 2010 and share two children.
