After what seemed a tumultuous time, there are some reports that suggest Scarlet Johansson’s resentment over her divorce. According to insider talks, the Black Widow actress is seemingly angry with Blake Lively for stealing away her husband while on the sets of Green Lantern (2011).

Being married for 3 years, Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds stayed together from 2008 to 2011 until their divorce. The moment felt quite surprising to people when it was announced that the duo would be separating back in 2011.

But what surprised the people, even more, was the timeline of their relationship. It was reported that Ryan Reynolds had met his future wife Blake Lively on the sets of Green Lantern in 2010. Rumors of cheating between the actors were also whispered after their fallout. At the time, Blake Lively was in a relationship with actor Penn Badgley.
Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds had filed for a divorce petition at the exact same time. After the whole ordeal was over, Blake Lively clarified that she and Reynolds started dating after the filming had been wrapped up. Years after the whole affair, there are reports that Scarlett Johansson still resents Blake Lively for stealing away her husband.
“Scarlett is pissed that he’s not under her spell anymore. She realized what a great catch Ryan was. Ryan would have gotten back with her. He was so totally in love. But then she flaunted Sean right after their split, and he was done.”

Being an actress, Johansson revealed that life goes on and she had to eventually deal and cope with the presented circumstances thrown her way.
“I’m a big believer that when something feels right, you should do it. I’m a big believer in instinct. Getting married was the right thing to do because it was natural. It grew out of a romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be.”
The actors eventually found their significant other as Scarlett Johansson has been married to Colin Jost since 2020. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively seem to be going strong as the family recently celebrated their 10th Christmas together.
