Stating that he doesn’t have time for quick snacking breaks and all, Downey Jr. came up with a hilarious solution that worked very well and was very convenient. As per the reports, the Sherlock Holmes actor hid food all around the sets of any MCU movie that was available to snacking whenever he felt like it.

Eating off-screen, the actor has also eaten on-screen as his character just like how Tony Stark had a burger in Iron Man and a Shawarma in The Avengers. The actor is also seen eating pizza and a donut at Randy’s Donuts. Another theory states that eating food makes a character more relatable to the people and hence, Downey Jr could be doing that to make his character feel believable. The trick is also used by Brad Pitt in many of his movies.
