Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is one of the most talked about anime at the moment, the series returned to our screens after more than 10 years and fans cannot wait to see their favorite characters back in action with much better animation, soundtrack, and fights. The series started with an amazing animation but during episode 3 fans noticed that the animation had dropped and raised questions about it.
Bleach has a fan base across the globe and has millions of people who grew up watching it, When the anime went on hiatus most of the fans gave up and everyone thought that it would never return but everyone was proved wrong and it made a sensational return.
After more than 10 years of wait the series finally returned and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episode 1 and 2 were superhit and was very well received by the audience. However during the 3rd episode of Cour 1 fans quickly took notice of the drop in quality and took it to Twitter to discuss it.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War‘s Drop in Animation Quality
When Bleach’s return was announced fans were excited and could not wait to see their beloved characters once more. Thousand Year Blood War is the last arc of the series and has some of the best fights in the entire series.
Since the anime was returning after a decade-long hiatus fans were confident about the improvement they would get in OSTs, animation, and voice acting, however, their enthusiasm soon turned into a form of disbelief and anger when they saw the animation of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Cour 1 episode 3.
The episode ended up dividing the fandom into 2 sides one of which stated that the animation was alright on the other hand one side claimed that the animation was done very poorly and was not up to the mark.
Fans took it to Twitter and pointed out that one scene was replayed for over 40 seconds which was unnecessary. The reasons for such are unknown but one reason can be its weekly episode release format which might have forced the production team to cut some corners.
Animation quality in other episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
The drop in quality was only noticed in episode 3 of part 1 but upon feedback by the viewers, the studio managed to get back to its usual standards.
While watching anime some die-hard fans tend to focus more than usual viewers and end up finding these small mistakes. As seen by the reaction by other viewers it was not a major issue but was something that needed to be pointed out.
Aside from the small part where the animation was bad episode was a very good episode and had its fair share of good moments and increased the excitement in fans.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is currently airing its second Cour and has just released episode 9 titled Marching Out The Zombies
