Kate Winslet and Liam Hemsworth’s movie The Dressmaker was packed with drama and thriller. It was a delight for fans to watch Winslet and Hemsworth share the big screen for the first time. The love chemistry between the Titanic actress and the 33-year-old actor was blazing hot but, Winslet’s daughter didn’t approve of it.
During an interview, the 47-year-old actress talked about the behind-the-scenes drama during the filming of their 2015 movie The Dressmaker.
Kate Winslet recalls how Liam Hemsworth had to keep taking his clothes off for 12 hours
When Kate Winslet appeared on one of the episodes of Graham Norton’s Show in 2015, she talked about her co-star Liam Hemsworth. There were some steamy scenes between the Australian actor and the Little Children actress. Winslet recalled the time when Hemsworth had to keep taking his clothes off to perform a scene. While talking about the scene, the Holy Smoke actress said,
“We struggled to keep a straight face during that scene. Poor Liam, for 12 hours straight we kept making him take his clothes off. We didn’t mean to!”
Winslet also stated that her daughter who was a teenager at that time was a big Hemsworth fan. The 47-year-old actress recalled how her daughter got furious at her when she got to know her mother was working with her favorite actor.

During another interview, Winslet mentioned that her daughter Mia is a big The Hunger Games show fan. The Divergent actress stated that she knew about Hemsworth’s character in the famous show because of her daughter. While talking about Mia’s reaction, Winslet said,
“When I told my daughter that I was shooting the sex scene that day she spluttered. I took it to be jealousy. It’s only because of her that I know the name of the character that Liam plays in The Hunger Games—I wouldn’t have a clue otherwise. It’s rather alarming that Mia is actually closer in age to Liam than I am. She only pointed that out to me the other day, and I was like, ‘Oh shhh!’”
The Tripple 9 actress described the Poker Face actor as a lovely guy and a fabulous chap. Winslet also didn’t forget to talk about the 33-year-old actor’s Greek God physique. The Quills actress said,
“Liam is a lovely, lovely guy, much is made of how he looks and he’s physically extremely beautiful but he’s a fabulous chap and was really up for mucking in with the rest of us.”
The Jude actress claimed that Mia’s friends were also jealous of her collaboration with Hemsworth. Fans loved Winslet’s chemistry with the Knowing actor.
