Method acting is considered to be the pinnacle of the trade. Not many are capable of pulling off an approach that involves eradicating the differences between their characters and themselves. But it is not as rosy as it sounds. Robert Pattinson has drawn everyone’s attention to a facet of method acting that is often ignored by the masses. And fans seem to believe that his stance can be considered a dig at Jonathan Majors.
Robert Pattinson gives his take on method acting
Method acting, and the ones who do it, are respected by all. It’s a lot of hard work. Not to forget that it takes a toll on the actors themselves. It is not easy to blur the lines between yourself and a random person who didn’t exist a week ago.
Yet, the obsession with glorifying method acting continues unabated. The Tenet actor has sought to counter the same in a recent interview drawing light to a red flag that had gone under the radar for some time now.

Why is method acting a veil?
The Batman star said,
“I always say people who do method acting, you only ever see people do the method when they’re playing a**holes. You never see someone being lovely to everyone while they’re really deep in character.
These words are not devoid of any veracity. There have been instances. Jared Leto’s rodeo as The Joker in Suicide Squad produced some jarring for the movie’s cast and crew. Co-star Viola Davis would later go on to say, “He did some bad things, Jared Leto did.”
Another star who has ‘allegedly’ committed some “rude” acts courtesy to method acting is Jonathan Majors.
Jonathan Majors faces the heat after claims that alleged abuse was a result of method acting
Jonathan Majors has been caught in the eye of a storm for the alleged acts of harassment and assault. The Loki star has lost popularity left, right, and center ever since the allegations came to light. But his lawyer has sought to do some damage control. The accusations of getting physical with anyone were denied vehemently while stressing that any “rude” behavior that the actor has committed is a result of “his immersive Method acting Style.”
But the fans seem to agree with the Twilight star, as they took to Twitter to support his claims:
It is no secret that method actors are not a charm to work with.
But at the end of the day, it is up to the jury to decide.
