Almost every actor has been through an embarrassing situation while filming a movie. Actor Steven Seagal also went through something similar. There is a famous story involving Seagal and martial arts legend Judo Gene Lebell. The two had a friendly conversation about chokehold and LeBell then reportedly choked Seagal and he pooped his pants. There have been various versions of the story but all claimed that Seagal pooped his pants in the end.
However, Seagal once claimed that the story wasn’t true and even called LeBell a “pathological scumbag liar.” Judo Gene Lebell passed away in August 2022 at the age of 89.
Steven Seagal pooped his pants while fighting Judo Gene Lebell
For many years, a hilarious story (not for Steven Seagal) has been rehashed and narrated by several people. Steven Seagal once bragged about being able to escape any kind of chokehold when he and Judo Gene were working on a project together.
As per reports, LeBell then used a technique called a “cross-collar choke” on Seagal and it reportedly made Seagal unconscious. He passed out and pooped his pants.
Steven Seagal narrated a different version
In 2002, Steven Seagal talked about the incident himself and narrated a different version of the story. He said,
“I don’t even know if he is still alive. Is he still alive? I never knew this about him – either he is a pathological liar or he had somebody making up these stories. He came over to my trailer and I was with a guy called Conrad Palmisano who is still a legend, one of the greatest stunt coordinators in the history of Hollywood. [LeBell and I] were standing there talking about moves and stuff like that and we were just doing some stretching and he was showing me how you can stretch … he wanted to stretch my back and then I kind of flipped over the top of him and said ‘thank you for that.'”
He even swore on his kids’ life claiming that “there was never any confrontation with him ever.” He added that it was a lie,
“There was never any confrontation with him ever. In any way, shape, or form. And I swear to god on my children – and they are the most precious thing in my life – if he is saying that he is a pathological scumbag liar. I keep answering that. Either he made up this lie or someone made it up.”
There could be a possibility that Seagal is narrating the true story as there are many versions of it.
Ronda Rousey called Steven Seagal a liar
Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey once talked about this famous story. She was trained by Judo Gene Lebell and claimed that the story was actually true,
“Well, would you ever admit it? Obviously, the guy is a liar… If he says anything bad about Gene to my face, I would have to make him crap his pants a second time.”
Unfortunately, Judo Gene Lebell is not here today to confirm this story as he passed away at the age of 89 on August 9, 2022.
