It seems like actress Gal Gadot’s time as the iconic Wonder Woman has not ended after all. The actress previously confirmed that the co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn will reboot the DCEU which will also include her version of Wonder Woman.
Gunn is planning to reshape the entire DC Universe with new Hollywood stars portraying iconic DC characters but Gadot is not out of the picture unlike Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck. With the news going viral, Zack Snyder’s fans have already started bashing Gunn’s plan to cast Gadot.
Gal Gadot is All Set to Return as Wonder Woman
In a recent interview with ComicBook, actress Gal Gadot confirmed that she will be working with James Gunn to create the third Wonder Woman movie. The actress said,
“I love portraying Wonder Woman. It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.”
As of now, it is unclear whether the new Wonder Woman movie will be a part of the new DC universe that James Gunn is setting up.
Zack Snyder’s Fans Criticized the Casting
On social media, director Zack Snyder’s fans have claimed that only Snyder was able to bring out Gal Gadot’s true potential and predicted that Gunn’s version would be a failure. Many fans have pointed out that Gadot’s performances have gotten worse since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
Gadot receives a lot of hate on social media because of her military background. Many have accused her of being a Zionist. In 2021, she tweeted about the Israel-Hamas rocket attacks conflict. As a result, it kicked off a huge controversy and the actress disabled the comments.

When will Fans Get James Gunn’s Wonder Woman 3?
Not a lot of information is available regarding the third Wonder Woman movie right now and it is still unclear if director Patty Jenkins, who worked on the first two films, Wonder Woman (2017) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), will be returning to create the third film.
With James Gunn creating a new universe with fresh faces, it is conflicting for fans to see some actors staying while others part ways. Then again, it was never a full reboot but more so a soft reboot. Many speculate that Gadot signed the movie before Gunn was appointed as the co-CEO, so as per her contract, she must appear in the third film.
